DevOps Engineer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer
experience.
DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production
issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background
in software engineering and are familiar with Nodejs or Python, we’d like to meet you.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- 4 - 6 Years Experience with public cloud services (AWS | GCP | Azure)
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration platforms, such as Docker and Kubernetes
Required Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD concept and tools (CircleCI, Jenkins etc.)
- Experience with Web Server ( apache2, Nginx )
- Experience with SQL (Postgres, MySQL, RDS, etc.) and NoSQL (Mongo, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, etc.) technologies
- Knowledge of IAC frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and package deployments such as k8s templates, Helm, bash scripting
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, and proficiency and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Nodes, Python, Ruby, PHP) (Python and Go preferred)
- Solid understanding of workflow and process automation, solution integration, and scripting
- Good knowledge of operating systems (Unix,Linux )
- Thorough knowledge of software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
